Our Staff Development Programme

From the moment someone walks through the door on their first day, our desire is to equip every team member with all the necessary skills and knowledge to help them reach their potential and carry out their roles to the highest standard. We feel the most effective way of learning is through a combination of onsite one to one and group sessions, e-learning programs and workshops led by sector-leading external specialists.

All our development programs are evaluated and updated to ensure we are at the forefront of dementia care training. We want all our staff to embrace the Worcester Lodge Family ethos- bringing their own personality, love and empathy to help provide the highest quality level of care for all our residents.

We believe the physical and mental wellbeing of our staff is paramount in helping maintain a motivated and fulfilled team. This is why every staff member is enrolled in our complimentary health plan, that offers among other benefits – Free counselling advice for all their family, virtual GP services and money back on dental and optical costs for themselves and their children.

Training offered includes:

Full induction training, including our Osborne Values

Care training, including Mental Capacity Act

Dementia care qualifications

Strategic leadership

QCF Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care
